Bargoed entertained Rhiwbina RFC at home in a re-arranged National 2nd XV Conference game as intended opponents Penallta RFC had pulled out earlier in the week.
Bargoed were tested by a hard working and spirited Squirrels side but defended well and took their opportunities superbly when they came for a 67-20 victory as they closed the gap on Penallta at the top of the league.
This was a real team effort from The Warriors who still have a number of games to play. First up are Ammanford at home next week in another National Conference game
