It was good to see the club packed to the rafters for an evening with Wales Defence Coach and Grand Slam winner Shaun Edwards, on Saturday night, who was in great form.

Well done to Bar Manager Aled Webb, all the bar staff, all the Youth team players who were waiters, Chief organiser Grant Rogers and Head Chef Hayley Rogers, who all delivered for an excellent night

It was great to see club legends Phil Smith and Stuart Jones deservedly get their club caps that were presented by Shaun Edwards.

Best wishes to Adam Powell and James Locke who both picked up injuries in the win over Swansea on Saturday.

It was good to see the Year Seven side at Heolddu Comprehensive School under the stewardship of 1st XV prop and Hub Officer, John Lavender win the recent Caerphilly Schools tournament with a no. of Bargoed players in the squad.

This Saturday the 1st XV travel to Ebbw Vale, for another crucial Principality Premiership fixture.
