There’s a full fixture list this weekend with all three senior teams in action. The 1st XV take on Pontypridd in a Principality Premiership tie at Bargoed Park. The 2nd XV Warriors have an important National 2nd XV Conference fixture at home against Risca. The Youth XV travel to play St. Julians Newport in a Dragons Plate Semi Final Match. All games kick off at 2.30 pm. Good luck to all.

The Youth Squad had a great tour to Magaluf last week and as Team Manager Graham Mayo said ‘39 went and 39 came home’. The boys had a great time with many memories made and no stories to tell (what goes on tour stays on tour of course).

They now look forward to a busy end to the season as they are in the Dragons Plate semi final, and also the Caerphilly District Final, and still in the running for the Dragons League. Keep it going lads great season!!

It was good to see three Bargoed Youth boys in the Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni Squad for the Plate Final of the Welsh Schools u18 Plate Final at the Principality Stadium. Well done to Rhys Thomas, Lewis Cooper and Travis Sullivan.

Cwm Rhymni couldn’t quite do it and lost 28-15 to Ysgol Bro Dinefwr from Llandeilo. It was a really tight encounter, but an excellent spectacle with Cwm Rhymni scoring three excellent tries. Da lawn!!

There is a Supporters Club function on Saturday at midday before The Pontypridd game. Anyone interested in attending please contact Mostyn Davies.

On Saturday 11th May there will be a Bargoed’s Got Talent Show at the club at 7.15 pm, along with compulsory fancy dress for all 1st, 2nd and Youth players, coaches, management and supporters.

Rock cover band Wildside will also be performing later in the evening after BGT 2019.
