It was a mixed bag last Saturday with the 1st XV getting a draw, the Youth got a win and the Warriors didn’t play!!
The Youth had an excellent 36-15 win at home against Whiteheads RFC with tries for Lewis Cooper 2, Jake Rees 2, Kaelem Jones Callum Woods
However this was a real squad effort with everyone doing their bit in a collective performance. Every player in the squad had game time, and they were well led by impressive Captain Keaton Davies. The forwards worked hard in tight and loose with the backs clinical in attack. Man of the Match was Lewis Cooper who always looked dangerous.
The Coaching and Management staff were pleased with the effort of everyone and they now look forward to entertaining Bedwas at home this Saturday.
On Saturday the 1st XV travel to the Talbot Athletic Ground to face Premiership outfit Aberavon in the Cup, and the Warriors travel to Senghenydd for a friendly. Kick off in both games is 2.30 pm
