The Youth are also at home, as they entertain Beddau at home.
Bargoed Vets, ‘The Never Beens’ were the only side in action last weekend with an early kick off before the Wales v Barbarians game, away at Maesteg Celtic.
Bargoed scored a few tries in a close encounter with tries from Adam Kidley, Jamie Howells, Adam Jones, and Lee Pearson who managed to get over the whitewash on two occasions. Try poacher Pearson also manages to convert, and Gareth Richards also slotted one as well.
Bargoed defended superbly at the end of the game, with some heroic defence across the board.
The rugby and the after match boat race were both close calls, but Bargoed won on both counts, with a deserved victory in an entertaining game.
