Bargoed started well and took the lead after 5 minutes when a loose ball was snapped up and moved right and Duane Dyer ran in from 20 metres for the opening score.
The visitors hit back shortly after when a chip over the top saw the bounce favour wing Robin Williams who strode over after 11 minutes, the try was converted by Lloyd Rogers to lead 7-5
Bargoed retook the lead after 15 minutes when Tata were penalised after good work by Kieron Brown in the contact area. Steffan Jones slotted the kick to take it to 8-7 to Bargoed.
Tata were making Bargoed work hard but Bargoed did well in both defence and the contact area, and after good work from the home side, they were awarded a penalty. Jones stepped and converted this into points to extend the lead to the lead to 11-7.
They looked like they had increased the lead but Jordan Purcell was pulled back as he headed to the line, after a forward pass. However a few minutes later hooker Rhys Buckley crashed over after a great build up through the forwards carrying game, Jones converted to make it 18-7.
Steffan Jones kicked another penalty before half time for the home side to lead 21-7 at the break.
Bargoed continued to dominate territorially but Tata’s defence remained intact until Bargoed stretched them out wide and Dyer went over for his second try after 54 minutes.
Bargoed continued to attack the Tata line but it took until the 71st minute for Bargoed to get the bonus point try with Jordan Purcell crossing to make it 31-7.
They increased the lead with two late tries from Grant Rogers and Huw Rees, with Jones converting both for Bargoed to win 45-7.

This victory takes Bargoed up to third in the Championship behind Bedwas, who are one point in front, and Pontypool who are three points ahead of the Bulls.
Next Saturday Cross Keys visit Bargoed Park 2.30 pm kick off.
