It was a win double on the weekend for both sides at home, with the 1st XV victorious against Swansea RFC in the Principality Premiership and the Youth winning against Chepstow in the Dragons League.
It was disappointing that the Warriors opponents Ammanford pulled out in what was a National 2nd XV Conference tie, so there was no game again for them.
The Warriors have had a disappointing couple of weeks with both Penallta and Ammanford pulling out of recent fixtures. Indeed they have only played 5 games since Xmas.

It was good to see the Year Seven side at Heolddu Comprehensive School under the stewardship of 1st XV prop and Hub Officer, John Lavender win the recent Caerphilly Schools tournament with a no. of Bargoed players in the squad.
